Helping identify and overcome your business challenges

eCommerce

The reality is that nobody can know everything. Most founders and brand owners know how to make an amazing product, far better than we could; most small shop owners are nailing in-person retail. But there's a whole other set of skills to selling online. If you want to do it right, we're here to help.

The shop is the bit everything else points at, so it's worth having it right: built sensibly, quick to load, easy to buy from, with product pages that tell people what they need to know and stock that matches what the site says. None of that is glamorous, and most of it only gets noticed when it's wrong.

This is where we do the shop work: the fixed-price checks that tell you what's actually going on, the builds that put a store on its feet, and the ongoing help that keeps it that way. Start wherever suits. Some people arrive with a launch date and a blank page; others have a shop that's been limping along for three years and want someone to have a proper look. Both are normal.

Start with a look under the bonnet

If you already have a shop and aren't sure what's holding it back, a diagnostic is the cheapest way to find out, and it stops you spending on the wrong fix. Each is a fixed-price piece of work with a written answer at the end.

  • Store Teardown Session: a recorded walk through your store, ads and analytics together, to find where the sales are slipping away. The best place to start if you're not sure where to start.
  • UX and Journey Audit: we buy from your shop the way a customer would, and write down every place it got awkward.
  • Technical SEO Audit: the behind-the-scenes problems that make it harder for search engines, and so customers, to find you.
  • Website Accessibility Mini-Audit: whether everyone can use your shop, including people using screen readers or keyboards, and what the law now expects.
  • Product Feed Audit: the product data feeding Google Shopping, Meta and the marketplaces, checked for the errors that quietly get products rejected.
  • GA4 Dashboard in a Box: your numbers in one readable dashboard, so you can see how the shop is doing without learning Google Analytics.
  • Monthly Trading Insights: a short written read of your month, what moved, why we think so and what to try next.

Build it properly

For a new shop, a rebuild, or a catalogue that's outgrown its first draft.

  • Site Build and Launch: a store built and launched, in three sizes from a simple catalogue to a multi-channel set-up. Payments, shipping, analytics and the search basics are in, not bolted on later.
  • Domain and Hosting Setup: your domain and hosting researched, registered and sorted, with the dull-but-important bits done right.
  • Product Catalogue Setup: your products laid out in the shop properly, with the structure that makes them easy to find and easy to keep tidy.
  • Catalogue Enrichment Service: thin product pages turned into ones that answer the questions customers are actually asking.
  • Product Photography: pictures that show the thing as it is, for people deciding whether to hand over money.

Getting orders out the door

If you want to sell more without turning the spare room into a warehouse, there's a short, practical set of services for choosing and setting up a fulfilment partner.

Keeping it running

  • Managed eCommerce: we handle the day-to-day running of the site (the fixing, updating and keeping an eye on it) while you get on with making and shipping the product. A monthly service, with the price on the product page.

Not sure which?

Most people start with the Store Teardown Session if they have a shop, and Site Build and Launch if they don't. If neither sounds right, tell us what you're trying to do and we'll point you at the cheapest thing that helps, even if that turns out to be nothing we sell.

The honest bit

A shop doesn't always need a rebuild. Often a few well-chosen fixes beat a new site, and sometimes the right advice is "leave it alone and sort your photos." We'll tell you which, in writing, before you spend more.
